Stockton Infrared Thermographic Services, Inc. Launches
RoofScanIR™ at the RCI International Convention & Trade Show
Stockton Infrared Thermographic Services, Inc., (SITS) will launch their newest
service, RoofScanIR™, at the Upcoming RCI (Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing,
& Building Envelope Professionals) International Convention and Trade Show,
being held March 1st - 6th, 2007 at the Rosen Shingle
Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Stockton Infrared Thermographic Services, Inc. was founded in
1989 is an industry leader and innovator of infrared thermographic
applications. RoofScanIR™, a service
provided by AITscan™ and ThermalMapIR™, Stockton’s
aerial divisions, is a service designed specifically for roofing consultants
and roof contractors, to assist them in marketing roof products and
services. RoofScanIR™ will provide these
companies with wide-area thermal image data so that they can identify potential
customers.
RoofScanIR™ thermographers fly
over wide areas that have concentrations of roofs and take high altitude visual
and infrared pictures. The images are
then post-processed into single image thermal mosaics. Roofing companies and contractors can
purchase imagery of any area in the US or Canada and select the
resolution which best suits their purposes.
Prices are based upon the distance from the target area to the nearest SITS
hangar or the nearest upcoming job and the resolution desired. All the imagery
provided is new, and specific to the client’s specific requests. These images are not satellite imagery, stock
images or outdated pictures. The
infrared imagery can identify differences in moisture-contaminated roof
substrates and differences in coatings. Photographic
images of the areas are also available. The service line can provide low,
medium or high resolution and/or ortho-rectified images.
SITS has 11 pilots, 9 fixed-wing
aircraft and 1 rotor-wing aircraft. The assets
are strategically located throughout North America enabling them to provide
services anywhere in the US or Canada. “What makes
this service unique and useful to those interested in roof thermal data,
are the different options with regard to resolution of the imagery and the attractive
prices per square foot of roof area…by the acre,” states Greg
Stockton, President of SITS. “Recognizing a market with
tremendous potential, we decided to aim our products at the marketing
departments of those who want to know which roofs in a given area have
problems, and which do not”, says Alejandro Tache, the aerial division manager. “We can provide roofing consultants & roof
contractors information that they can use to identify potential customers who need
their services and give them real ammunition for the initial sales calls”
continues Mr. Tache.
The website and service line will be launched on March 1st,
in conjunction with one of the roofing industry’s largest conventions. “We’re delighted about the timing of the
launch,” states Cindy Hawks, SITS Marketing Director. “We will be able to present this service line
which provides real value directly to hundreds of roofing professionals at this
important event.”
