Stockton Infrared Thermographic Services, Inc. (SITS) one of the USA’s leading providers of infrared (IR) thermographic services, announces the appointment of Jefre Cockerham as the Director of Special Projects. SITS provides state-of-the-art infrared testing services to top-500 companies and government agencies in the US, Canada, Central and South America. Jefre Cockerham’s experience includes twenty-five years in advanced technology industries. In positions with Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed Martin, Lucent Technologies and Rolls-Royce, he was responsible for and involved with a variety of engineering tasks including aircraft exhaust system aerodynamic design/analysis/testing, aircraft infrared signature prediction/measurement, infrared equipment specification/calibration/operation, infrared measurement support equipment design/fabrication, and R&D for electro-optical components. Formal technical innovation recognition includes receipt of three (3) US patents and compensation for several invention disclosures related to classified propulsion system concepts. Special projects include design, assembly and operation of a fully automated measurement system for an infrared signature simulator (MWIR imager, LWIR imager, and spectral radiometer) mounted on indexing positioned viewing an electronically configurable target, mounted on an Az/El positioner) and design/analysis/test support for the F-15 SMTD/F-16/YF-22/YF-23/F-22/F-35/Delta Clipper/DD-21 Blue Team/V-22 programs. “I’m very excited about joining the team at Stockton Infrared,” Mr. Cockerham states. “SITS has infrared assets that most companies only dream about having.
